Jim recently spent a few days visiting The Cedar Rapids Country Club. We asked Jim to meet with our Food & Beverage staff and recommend to us any upgrades and efficiencies that we could implement. The staff loved working with him. His insights have been invaluable to us and we saw immediate improvements from his recommendations. Our dining surveys increased substantially since his visit.

Earlier this year we contracted with Lopolito Hospitality Consultants, Corp. to have Jim Lopolito consult our chef and kitchen staff in recipe costing, portion control, and inventory management. Jim spent three days in our kitchen working with our staff and he did an outstanding job. He connected with our entire crew and was able to teach them how to properly calculate the cost of numerous items on our menu. Our chef has implemented much of what he learned from Jim and as a result we have a better understanding of the comprehensive cost of our menu items. In the current inflationary environment this training has been extremely valuable and we look forward to having Jim work with our staff again in the near future.

 In 2019 Jim provided extensive review and consultation on the purchase of the Sugarloaf Performing Arts Center. The Town of Chester was in contract to purchase this venue for the purposes of economic benefit and to provide for the arts and entertainment of Chester residents as well as the surrounding areas.
Jim was the consummate professional when asked to help. He was extremely well versed in the infrastructure and equipment in the theater and provided a keen understanding of the day-to-day operations of this type of facility.
When asked Jim also provided an excellent overview of the facility to a large attendance of residents at our Town Board meeting, his delivery was concise and informative.
 
I would say that Jim was clearly instrumental in our acquisition of the facility through public referendum.
 
As Town Supervisor I would highly recommend Jim and his services.
